YOUTH
EMPOWERMENT
Uplifting youth through personalized, creative works of art. By channeling volunteer talent into meaningful service, it provides patients with encouragement, distraction, and reminders that they are valued.

Each card reminds patients that a global community is supporting them.
PATIENT
SPOTLIGHT
Each week, a new patient is highlighted. Volunteers are given details about the child’s interests, guiding the creation of personalized artwork.
QUALITY
REVIEWED
All submissions are reviewed to ensure quality and consistency before being distributed to hospitals or mailed directly to families.
HAND CRAFTED
ARTWORK
Volunteers design handmade and digital artwork, including cards, bookmarks, posters, origami, bracelets, and crochet items.
These items provide both distraction and joy, easing long hospital stays and reducing feelings of isolation.

LEARNING
THAT LASTS
02
Strengthening care in resource-limited countries by enhancing medical education, expanding specialized training for healthcare professionals, and developing patient support systems.

Most cases of systemic mastocytosis are caused by a random change (mutation) in the KIT gene. Typically, this flaw in the KIT gene is not inherited. Too many mast cells are produced and build up in tissues and body organs, releasing substances such as histamine, leukotrienes and cytokines that cause inflammation and symptoms.
Mayo Clinic

Through partnerships with organizations like Mayo Clinic, as well as the generosity of our donors, we work to create measurable, lasting change.

TREATMENT
FUNDRAISING
PROGRAM
Reducing isolation & supporting emotional well-being for MCAS patients by hosting monthly events that connect them with trained volunteers, create personalized moments of joy, and foster resilience through meaningful social interaction.
03

The Hybrid setting protects patients with more vulnerable immune systems, while also encouraging emotional resilience by providing moments of laughter, play, and companionship during treatment.

Personalized
Pairings
Patients are matched with volunteers based on shared interests to encourage authentic and enjoyable interactions.
Engaging Activities
Sessions include discussions, collaborative games, and themed activities tailored to each patient’s passions.
Continuous Improvement
Following each event, feedback is reviewed to ensure the program remains responsive to patient needs and interests.

What makes this program most unique is its ability to bring the world into the hospital room. We have partnered with organizations such as the Cleveland Clinic and other organizations to be able to host interactive experiences that patients would not otherwise be able to enjoy.
